During warmer months, the outer box may carry additional perforations for ventilation; in colder months a heat pack may be included to maintain a safe temperature throughout the journey.

Keeping Your Crickets in Good Condition

To get the most from your livefood, continue gut-loading the crickets right up until use. Offer fresh leafy greens, carrot, squash, or sweet potato for hydration and nutritional content, or use a dedicated gut-load product. Remove uneaten food daily to prevent mould and keep conditions clean. House them at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and draughts, with sufficient hiding space to reduce stress and mortality.
