How to Feed

This diet is designed to make up around 70% of the daily ration during non-reproductive periods, with the remaining portion supplied as fresh sweet fruit. Together, this combination delivers a complete and balanced diet. It is formulated exclusively for iron-sensitive species — the deliberately low iron level is a feature for these birds, not a shortfall, and it should not be fed to species without this sensitivity.

Composition

The ingredient base draws on cereal grains and derivatives, oil seeds, oil fruits, fructose, dried brewer's yeast, refined vegetable oils (canola and palm), tubers, roots, dehydrated apple pulp, dried egg shells, and inulin sourced from chicory (Cichorium intybus). Mojave yucca and marigold meal (Tagetes erecta) are also included, alongside a full mineral and trace element profile.
