Keeping Your Waxworms

Store waxworms at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and draughts. Offer fresh leafy greens, carrots, squash, or sweet potato regularly to keep them gut-loaded and nutritionally active right up until feeding. Remove any uneaten food daily to prevent mould and maintain clean conditions.

Packaging and Transit

Waxworms arrive in a ventilated plastic tub with air holes to maintain airflow and keep them secure during delivery. During warmer months the outer box may include additional ventilation perforations; in colder months a heat pack may be included to help maintain a stable temperature in transit.

Choosing the Right Quantity
