Construction and Build Quality

The Repti-Home arrives flat-packed and goes together with a single screwdriver, with most of the structure held by locking screws. This means the enclosure can be disassembled and rebuilt if you need to move or reconfigure it. First-time builds typically take around 15–20 minutes. Once assembled, running a pet-safe sealant along internal joints is recommended to extend the life of the enclosure and improve heat retention.

Ventilation and Access

Large vents are positioned to allow heat to disperse across the enclosure, supporting a natural thermal gradient from warm to cool end. The 'easy-access' vent design lets you route cables for heating and lighting equipment through without removing vent covers entirely. A pair of sliding toughened glass front doors provide day-to-day access, with the glass meeting BS-EN-12150 kite-marked standards.

Security and Door Locking

A plastic plug fits into a gap between the sliding front panels to prevent the doors from being pushed open. For additional security, a separate lock compatible with this enclosure is available to purchase alongside it. The straightforward locking system is easy to use without compromising quick access during routine maintenance.
