Construction and Materials

The enclosure is built from 15mm wood-effect panels that retain heat efficiently, making it straightforward to achieve and maintain appropriate basking temperatures. Timber used in construction is sourced from recycled material or sustainably managed forests. The sliding front doors are made from toughened glass certified to BS-EN-12150 kite-marked standards, offering both clarity and durability.

Ventilation and Access

Easy-access vents are positioned to allow heating and lighting cables to be routed through without removing vent plugs entirely — a practical detail that makes equipment setup and adjustments much cleaner. Multiple large vents across the enclosure allow heat to dissipate naturally, helping to establish a thermal gradient from the warm to cool end. A plug is included to secure the front glass doors, with an optional additional lock available separately for extra security.

Assembly
