Dilution Rates for Vivarium Use

• Walls, floors, and hard surfaces: Dilute 45ml in 10 litres of water
• Porous or heavily soiled surfaces: Increase to 90ml in 10 litres of water
• Dishes, utensils, and equipment (e.g. snake hooks): Wash in a solution of 30–45ml in 10 litres of warm water
• Sanitising rinse for equipment: Immerse for at least two minutes in a solution of 15ml in 10 litres of water
• Hand dips (personnel handling animals or food): Use 15–30ml in 10 litres of water

Safe Use in Animal Enclosures
