Tropical Multimineral is a multi-mineral water treatment with trace elements, designed for freshwater aquariums. Fish and aquatic plants continuously draw trace elements from the water, and without replenishment those levels decline — opening the door to disease, developmental problems, and conditions that can prove difficult or impossible to reverse.
Why Trace Elements Matter
Trace elements play a direct role in a wide range of biological processes in fish and plants alike. As water ages between changes, these minerals are progressively depleted. Deficiencies don't always show immediately, but over time they can manifest as health issues and abnormal development in livestock — making consistent supplementation a sensible part of any maintenance routine.
When to Use It
Tropical Multimineral should be added after each water change to replace what's been removed. It's also worth increasing use during periods of higher demand — such as when fish are recovering from illness, during spawning, or following treatment with activated carbon, which strips trace elements from the water alongside other compounds.
Dosage
The recommended dose is 10 ml per 100 litres of aquarium water. Dose accurately to avoid over- or under-supplementing your system.
