The Taurrus Mite Dispenser is a slow-release tube designed to deploy predatory mites directly where they are needed most — in close proximity to the animal. Purpose-built for reptile vivariums, it is particularly well suited to arboreal setups and bird cages or aviaries where conventional mite treatments are difficult to apply effectively.

How It Works

The dispenser tube is supplied empty and is filled with Taurrus predatory mites before placement in the enclosure. Once loaded, it releases the predators gradually, giving them time to locate and eliminate mite populations without disturbance to the animal or its environment.

Where to Use It

Especially useful for arboreal snake species and exotic birds kept in cages or aviaries, where direct application of treatments is impractical. The tube can be positioned at height or within hides and branches, placing the predators exactly where mite activity is concentrated.
