Keeping and Gut-Loading

Store worms at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and draughts. To maintain their nutritional value until use, offer fresh leafy greens, carrots, squash, or sweet potato — these provide hydration as well as nutrients. Remove any uneaten food daily to prevent mould and keep conditions hygienic. Well-maintained worms are significantly more beneficial to your animal than neglected ones.
