ReptiZoo Mini Lamp Dome

The ReptiZoo Mini Lamp Dome is a compact lighting fixture designed for small terrariums, faunariums, and mesh-topped enclosures. It holds a heat bulb or other E27 lamp securely in place, directing light and heat downward where it is needed most.

Construction

The cylindrical shade is formed from aluminium alloy, a material chosen for its resistance to the heat generated by reptile bulbs. This construction also acts as a reflector, channelling output downward rather than allowing it to scatter.

Fitting & Compatibility

An internal metal lamp holder sits in the upper section of the cylinder, keeping the bulb anchored firmly during use. The dome accepts any standard E27 lamp up to a maximum of 40w, making it compatible with a wide range of heat and UVB bulbs commonly used in small reptile setups.

Ease of Use

An in-line on/off switch is built into the cable, so you can cut power without unplugging the unit each time. At 10 x 10 x 10.5 cm, the dome has a minimal footprint that suits smaller enclosures without dominating the setup.
