Two Independent Sockets, Two Distinct Jobs

The TC04 features two separate plugs — one dedicated to dimming thermostat control, and one operating purely as a programmable timer. Each socket works independently, so your heating and your scheduled equipment run on their own terms without interfering with each other.

Dimming Thermostat Socket

The thermostat socket uses dimming output, making it suitable for ceramic heat emitters, basking bulbs, heat mats, and heat cables. Dimming control maintains temperature by gradually adjusting power output rather than switching on and off, which reduces stress on bulbs and provides more stable ambient temperatures in the vivarium.

Timer Socket

The second socket runs on a timer function, independent of temperature.
