Ventilation and Lid

The top cover is a steel mesh secured with magnets, providing a secure close without the need for additional clips or latches. The mesh features 0.09mm holes, which deliver adequate airflow while keeping even the smallest invertebrates safely contained. The design is compatible with use alongside heat bulbs or supplemental heaters.

Substrate and Waterproofing

The base of the enclosure is fully removable, making cleaning and substrate changes straightforward. The interior accommodates a generous depth of substrate — enough to support live plants — and the waterproof construction means moisture from planting and plant maintenance will not compromise the enclosure.

Side Watering Port

A dedicated hole in one of the side walls allows you to water live plants without opening the lid or removing the base. This keeps disturbance to your animals minimal and makes routine maintenance considerably easier, particularly for species that are sensitive to handling or disruption.
