Why Acrylic

Acrylic resists knocks and everyday mechanical stress better than glass, and its transparency is flawless — no distortion, no green tint. The reduced weight makes these enclosures easy to position, rearrange, or move without hassle, which matters when you are managing a collection.

Ventilation and Access

The steel mesh lid is secured with magnets, keeping it firmly closed without clips or fuss. The mesh features fine 0.09mm holes — small enough to retain even tiny invertebrates while maintaining a steady airflow throughout the enclosure. The lid surface also supports the addition of lighting directly above the occupant.

Substrate and Planting

The removable base panel makes cleaning and substrate changes straightforward. The enclosure floor is waterproof, allowing a deep substrate layer to be maintained without risk of damage — well suited to setups incorporating live plants, which add naturalistic cover and environmental complexity for mantises, spiders, and other invertebrates.

Integrated Watering Port

A dedicated hole in one of the side walls allows keepers to water live plants without opening the main door or lid. This is a practical feature that reduces disturbance to the occupant during routine maintenance.
