The Reptile Systems Eco Halogen Replacement Lamp is a direct replacement bulb for the Reptile Systems Eco-Halogen unit, sold in a pack of two. Available in white or red, and across a range of wattages, these lamps keep your vivarium heating and lighting running without interruption.
Designed for the Eco-Halogen Unit
These are replacement lamps only and are built specifically for use within the Reptile Systems Eco-Halogen unit — a three-part system comprising the ceramic screw, the lamp itself, and the main body. When fitting, hold the foam shield rather than touching the lamp directly to avoid contamination that can shorten bulb life.
White and Red Output
White variants emit a bright, sun-like light that also outputs heat and UVA, making them well suited to daytime basking setups. Red variants offer an alternative for keepers who prefer a reduced visible output. Both colours are dimmable, giving you control over the intensity to suit your species' requirements.
Halogen Efficiency and Longevity
Halogen lamps outlast traditional incandescent bulbs thanks to the halogen cycle, which re-deposits evaporated tungsten back onto the filament rather than letting it degrade. This also means they produce more light and heat relative to the energy they consume. A quartz glass face ensures effective distribution of both heat and light across the enclosure.
Built to Run Cooler
The Eco-Halogen unit incorporates air holes in the body to aid heat dissipation around the lamp, which helps extend the working life of each bulb and reduces stress on the fitting during long daily photoperiods.
Choosing the Right Option
Replacement lamps are available in a range of wattages to match your existing setup, alongside the choice of white or red output. Select the wattage and colour that corresponds to your current Eco-Halogen unit from the options above.
