Product Information

Psittacus Parrot Maintenance is a complete pellet diet formulated for medium and large psittacine species — including African greys (Psittacus), macaws (Ara), amazons (Amazona), and cockatoos (Cacatua). Designed to cover all nutritional requirements during non-reproductive periods, this is a diet built around the bird's actual biology, not convenience.

How to feed

Psittacus Parrot Maintenance is formulated to constitute 100% of the diet, meaning it can be fed as the sole food source. Fruit and vegetables can be offered alongside it for enrichment and variety, provided Parrot Maintenance makes up no less than 70% of total diet by weight. For medium-sized species such as the African grey, daily intake typically falls between 5% and 12% of the bird's body weight.
