The ProRep Wood Humid Hide is a corner-fitting reptile hide designed to support healthy shedding in snakes and lizards. Built from resin with a wood effect finish, it replicates the look of a natural tree trunk while serving a practical function inside the vivarium or terrarium. Available in three sizes to suit enclosures of different scale.

How It Works

Fill the hide with damp moss or another absorbent substrate to create a localised humid microclimate within an otherwise drier enclosure. This targeted humidity is particularly effective at softening the skin ahead of a shed, reducing the risk of retained skin around the eyes, toes, and tail tip.

Design and Construction

The resin construction gives the hide a durable, easy-clean surface that won't degrade with repeated wetting. Each hide features a removable lid, making it straightforward to add or replace substrate, check on your animal, or carry out a full clean between sheds.
