ProRep Vivarium Black

The ProRep Vivarium range is a modern take on wooden reptile housing, combining an aluminium-framed structure with lightweight melamine-coated panels. Available in Grey, Oak, and Black wood-effect finishes, these vivariums are designed for keepers who want a durable, well-thought-out enclosure that looks as good as it functions. The Black finish gives a clean, contemporary look that suits both minimalist and heavily decorated setups.

Built to Last

Where traditional vivariums rely entirely on wooden joints for structural integrity, this range uses an aluminium frame running along all outer edges as its primary support. This eliminates the panel wear, warping, and joint splitting that can affect all-wood builds over time. The aluminium profile actively locks the side and back panels in place, producing a rigid enclosure built for long-term use.

Lighter Without Compromise

The aluminium frame allows thinner panels to be used throughout without any loss of strength. Panel construction across the range is as follows:

• Bottom panel — 12mm melamine-coated chipboard
• Side panels — 6mm melamine-coated chipboard
• Top panel — 15mm thick, suitable for screwing equipment directly into the ceiling of the enclosure

The result is a vivarium that is noticeably lighter than comparable all-wood builds, making both construction and repositioning far more manageable.

Clear View, Clean Front

Without the need for bulky front support plinths, the sliding glass doors can run from a bottom glass strip all the way up to the ceiling of the enclosure. This gives an unobstructed front-facing view across the full height of the setup. The doors are secured with a plastic door latch and run on a black runner for smooth, reliable access.
