Frame and Build Quality

Where traditional vivariums rely entirely on wooden panels for structural integrity, this range uses a robust aluminium frame running along every outer edge. That frame locks the side and back panels securely in place, eliminating the panel wear, warping, and splitting that can occur in all-wood builds over time. The result is a rigid enclosure designed for years of use.

Panel Specification

The aluminium frame allows thinner, lighter panels to be used throughout without compromising durability. The construction is as follows:

• Bottom panel — 12mm melamine-coated chipboard
• Side panels — 6mm melamine-coated chipboard
• Top panel — 15mm thick, allowing equipment and fixtures to be screwed directly into the ceiling and held securely

Visibility and Front Access

Because the aluminium corner posts carry the structural load, there is no need for the large front support plinths found on conventional vivariums. Sliding glass doors run from a bottom glass strip all the way to the ceiling, giving an unobstructed view of the full enclosure interior. A plastic door latch keeps the doors secure during daily use.

Ventilation and Cable Management

Side-mounted black plastic vents mean the back of the enclosure can sit flush against a wall without blocking airflow. A 5mm ventilation lip runs around both the top and bottom panels to maintain consistent air circulation. Rear cable management is adjustable and easy to access, keeping wiring tidy without restricting equipment placement. Screw channels are hidden within the aluminium profile, so the vivarium won't scratch surrounding surfaces when moved or repositioned.
