ProRep Live Moss

ProRep Live Moss is a natural, living substrate and decoration suitable for moisture-loving reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates. Harvested from sustainable sources, it brings functional humidity control and a naturalistic finish to vivariums and terrariums alike. How It's Used

Live moss works well both as a decorative layer and as a functional substrate. Used wet, it holds moisture effectively and helps maintain the elevated humidity levels that many tropical and woodland species require. It is also well suited to use in a lay box or shedding box, where consistent moisture retention is essential.

Preparing the Moss

Before use, place the required amount in clean, de-chlorinated water and leave to soak for around 10 minutes. Remove it from the water and squeeze gently to shed any excess before placing it in the enclosure. This rehydrates the moss and activates its natural humidity-holding properties.

Important Note

This is a fresh, living product — it is not sterile. As with all live botanicals, standard hygiene practices apply when handling and placing it in your setup.
