ProRep Live Plant: Umbrella Tree 'Variegated'

The Variegated Umbrella Tree is a robust tropical plant with glossy green foliage marbled with creamy-white patterning — a striking addition to any vivarium, terrarium, or bioactive setup. This is a medium-sized live specimen, suited to keepers who want immediate visual impact without waiting for a cutting to establish.

In the Enclosure

Sturdy stems and bushy growth make this plant genuinely useful as well as decorative. Climbing species will find purchase on the structure, while shyer animals benefit from the natural cover it provides. It also contributes to maintaining humidity in warm, tropical-style setups.

What to Expect

• Glossy variegated foliage — green with creamy-white marbling throughout
• Bushy, upright growth habit suitable for background planting or feature placement
• Thrives in warm, humid conditions with indirect light
• Non-toxic to most reptiles — always verify against your specific species' requirements
• Well suited to bioactive builds or as a standalone vivarium plant

Care Notes

This is a low-maintenance tropical plant that does well in the warm, humid conditions most tropical reptile enclosures naturally provide. Indirect light is sufficient — avoid prolonged direct exposure. As with any live plant introduced to an enclosure, inspect thoroughly before use and quarantine if required.

A practical, high-impact choice for keepers building out a naturalistic or bioactive habitat — the variegated foliage adds genuine depth and contrast that artificial plants simply cannot replicate.
