Product Information
ProRep Jelly Pots are a high-protein, fruit-flavoured gel food suitable for a wide range of fruit and plant-eating invertebrates, and as an occasional treat for herbivorous lizards. Available in a small pack for trying a new flavour or a bulk pack for regular feeding, the Melon variant is a firm favourite across a range of species.
What They're Made From
Each pot is produced from a high-quality vegetable gel base, fortified with protein and flavoured using natural fruit extracts. There are no artificial bulking agents — the formulation is straightforward and appropriate for species that benefit from fruit-based nutrition in captivity.
Suitable Species
- Fruit and plant-eating invertebrates such as beetles, roaches, and isopods
- Crested geckos, day geckos, and anoles — species that lick rather than consume whole food items
- Herbivorous lizards as a supplementary treat alongside their main diet
Feeding Instructions
Remove the film lid before placing the pot in the enclosure, and always position it so the animal can access it comfortably. Discard any uneaten jelly after 48 hours to prevent spoilage.
- Invertebrates: place the open pot directly in the enclosure
- Crested geckos, day geckos, anoles: these species lick the surface — use a jelly pot holder to keep the pot correctly positioned, especially in arboreal setups
- Other lizard species: press the base of the pot to release the jelly onto a dish, which prevents substrate contamination
Pack Options
ProRep Jelly Pots in Melon are available in a standard pack or a larger bulk quantity — choose the option that suits your feeding routine and the number of animals you keep. The larger pack is well suited to keepers running multiple enclosures or invertebrate colonies.
