ProRep Easy Clean Plastic Box Hide

The ProRep Plastic Hide is a no-nonsense, durable hideaway for reptiles, snakes, invertebrates, and small mammals. Moulded from tough polypropylene, it gives animals a secure retreat without the bulk or fragility of ceramic or resin alternatives. Available in a range of sizes to suit enclosures of different scales, from compact setups for small colubrids or invertebrates through to spacious terrariums housing larger species.

Material and Construction

Made from robust polypropylene, this hide is lightweight yet resistant to the wear of daily use. It won't crack under substrate pressure or warp in the humidity levels typical of tropical and humid vivarium setups. The smooth interior is easy to clean and won't harbour bacteria in the way porous natural materials can.

Bioactive and Naturalistic Setups

The design is particularly well suited to bioactive or naturalistic terrariums. The hide can be buried beneath a layer of substrate to create a convincing underground cave effect without the risk of subsidence or substrate collapsing into the hide entrance — a genuine safety advantage over loose rock or wood arrangements.
