Product Information
ProRep Bug Grub is a complete dry diet formulated specifically for the breeding and maintenance of feeder insects. High in calcium and protein, it supports the nutritional conditioning of livefood cultures — meaning the insects your reptiles eat are better nourished, and so are your animals. Available in a range of sizes to suit collections of different scale, from the casual keeper to those running larger feeder colonies.
What It Does
Bug Grub is designed to gut-load and sustain livefood insects, ensuring they remain in peak condition before being fed to reptiles, amphibians, or invertebrates. Formulated from high-quality ingredients for strong palatability, insects readily consume it — making the gut-loading process straightforward and reliable.

How to Use
Place Bug Grub in a shallow dish inside the feeder insect enclosure, ensuring insects can access it freely. Only put out enough for one to two days at a time — moisture causes mould growth, so keeping portions small and replacing food regularly is essential. Always provide a separate moisture source such as Bug Gel or small pieces of fresh carrot alongside Bug Grub.
Precautions
Not for human consumption. Wash hands after handling. Avoid inhaling any dust when dispensing the product.
Whether you're maintaining a small tub of crickets or running an established feeder colony, Bug Grub is available in multiple sizes — choose the option on this page that best suits the scale of your setup.
