ProRep Tortoise Life Edible Substrate

ProRep Tortoise Life Edible is a substrate blend built around the natural grazing behaviour of tortoises. Made entirely from dried botanicals — grasses, herbs, and flowers — it can be used as a standalone substrate, layered over a base substrate, or blended in to add variety and nutritional interest to any tortoise enclosure.

How to Use It

Tortoise Life Edible works in three ways: as a primary substrate in its own right, mixed into an existing substrate to increase botanical content, or scattered as a top layer to encourage foraging activity. Tortoises will naturally pick through it, grazing as they move — which contributes to fibre intake and keeps them behaviourally engaged.
