What's in the Kit

Each mini kit includes a half tray with drainage holes and peat-free compost, along with a herbivore seed mix ready to sow. The seed mix comprises white clover, crimson clover, red clover, vetch, hawkbit, nipplewort, dandelion, plantain, shepherd's purse, sainfoin, and hedge mustard — a broad spread of species that reflects the varied diet Mediterranean tortoises thrive on.

Why Grow Your Own

Wild-foraged plants carry real risks: pesticide exposure, misidentification, and seasonal unavailability.
