The PR Terrascaping Sealing Resin is a water-based waterproofing resin designed for keepers building naturalistic vivarium backgrounds and enclosure features. It forms a key step in the Terrascaping system, sealing and protecting textured surfaces on backgrounds, glass, wood, and other substrates — and once fully cured, it is safe for use in fully aquatic setups as well as standard bioactive builds.

Where It Fits in the Build Process

This resin is applied after your structural framework — typically polystyrene or expanding foam — has been shaped and textured using a Terrascaping Texturing Compound (sold separately). The sealing resin goes on next, waterproofing the surface and providing the base layer onto which colour and texture are added. It can be brushed directly onto backgrounds, glass panels, timber, and similar surfaces.

Colouring and Surface Finishing

Terrascaping Colour Pigments (sold separately) can be mixed directly into the resin before application, allowing you to build the exact tone and shade your design calls for. While the resin is still wet, sand, bark, cork, or other textured materials can be pressed in to create a natural finish that bonds firmly as the resin cures.

Water-Based Formula — No Solvent Smell
