What's in it

The chow is formulated around powdered White Mulberry leaf (Morus alba), the sole natural food source of silkworms. Vitamins and minerals have been added to support the nutritional condition of the silkworms — which directly benefits the reptile or amphibian being fed them.

Preparing the feed

The powder must be mixed with water before use — one part powder to three parts water. Bring the mixture to a boil to activate the gelling agent, then allow it to cool fully to room temperature. The result is a firm, rubbery gel that can be broken into pieces and placed directly into the silkworm tub.

Feeding guidance

• Feed silkworms once every two to three days — overfeeding is unnecessary
• As little as 1g of powder per feed, per tub is sufficient
• Only offer as much as the silkworms will consume — remove any uneaten gel promptly
