The ProRep Leopard Gecko Accessory Kit brings together a carefully chosen selection of enclosure essentials for leopard gecko keepers. Whether you're setting up your first vivarium or upgrading an existing setup, this kit covers the core equipment needed to support a healthy, well-adjusted gecko — from lighting and heating through to hides, supplements, and décor.

Lighting and Heating

Leopard geckos are crepuscular reptiles that benefit from low-level UVB exposure to support calcium metabolism and general wellbeing. This kit includes a T5 Zone 1 UVB lamp suited to their requirements, alongside a 60W flood lamp for daytime warmth. A heater guard is also included for safe lamp placement within the enclosure.

Hides and Shedding Support

Feeling secure is essential for leopard geckos, and this kit provides two hide options to support that. A dedicated shedding hide with a moss brick is included to maintain localised humidity and assist with clean, complete sheds — a common challenge with this species. The second hide gives your gecko an additional retreat and encourages natural sheltering behaviour.

Supplements

The kit includes both calcium and vitamin supplements to support bone health and overall condition. These are particularly important for growing juveniles and breeding animals, where nutritional demands are highest. Dusting live food consistently with both supplements is straightforward with these included products.

Enrichment and Décor

Artificial plants are included to add visual structure and environmental enrichment to the enclosure without the maintenance demands of live planting. These contribute to a more naturalistic setup while keeping the vivarium easy to clean and manage.

A Note on Heating

This kit does not include a primary heat source for nighttime use. ProRep recommends pairing it with a ceramic heater, deep heat projector, or heat mat — all running on a suitable thermostat — to maintain stable overnight temperatures.
