What's in the pot

Each jelly pot is made from a high-quality vegetable gel base, fortified with protein and flavoured using fruit extract or other natural flavourings. Herbivorous lizards that lick rather than bite — crested geckos, day geckos, anoles and similar species — can feed directly from the surface of the pot.

Using with invertebrates and feeder insects

For invertebrates and feeder livefood, simply remove the film lid and place the open pot directly inside the enclosure or livefood tub. The gel provides both nutrition and hydration, reducing the risk of drowning that comes with open water sources in livefood containers.

Using with lizards and other reptiles

• For licking species (crested geckos, day geckos, anoles): remove the lid and position the pot so the animal can access the surface — a jelly pot holder is recommended to keep arboreal species feeding comfortably
• For other species: press the base of the pot to release the jelly and serve it on a feeding dish, keeping it clear of the substrate to avoid contamination
• Remove any uneaten jelly after 48 hours to maintain hygiene in the enclosure
