The PR Crested Gecko Accessory Kit brings together the core components needed to set up a crested gecko vivarium correctly from the start. Crested geckos need precise lighting, controlled temperatures, and consistently high humidity — this kit addresses all three, giving you a structured foundation rather than a piecemeal collection of parts. Note that contents may vary, and we recommend supplementing this kit with a heat mat on a thermostat for overnight heating.

Lighting Setup

The kit includes a T5 Zone 1 UVB lamp with hood and reflector, providing appropriate low-level UVB output suited to a forest-dwelling species. A lamp dome fixture with reflector and a 60W spot lamp are also included, supporting a defined basking zone and natural light gradient within a vertical habitat. Timers for both the heat and light sources allow consistent photoperiods without manual adjustment each day.

Temperature and Humidity Monitoring

A dimming thermostat gives you accurate control over the spot lamp, preventing temperature spikes that crested geckos are particularly sensitive to. The digital thermometer and hygrometer combination lets you monitor both temperature and humidity from a single unit — essential for catching humidity drops before they cause respiratory problems.
