Product Information

PLT Frozen Mice Large Pinkies are a staple feeder for hatchling and juvenile reptiles, amphibians, and small birds of prey. Weighing 2g+, these large pinkies are suited to a wide range of small predatory species and are available in pack sizes to suit keepers of all scales — from those feeding a single hatchling to breeders running multiple animals.

About PLT Frozen Mice

PLT is one of the most trusted names in frozen feeder production in the UK. Their mice are farm-bred under ethical conditions and euthanised humanely before being packed into clear, secure plastic packaging. Every pack delivers consistent quality — the kind that experienced reptile keepers have come to rely on.

Which Animals Are These Suited To?

  • Hatchling corn snakes and milk snakes
  • Kingsnakes
  • Baby ball pythons
  • Carnivorous and omnivorous lizards
  • Juvenile pacman frogs and other predatory amphibians
  • Small birds of prey

Delivery and Packaging

Orders are dispatched in insulated boxes with dry ice packs designed specifically for frozen food transit. The CO2 released by the dry ice also helps keep the packaging free from pest insects during delivery. During warmer months, additional dry ice is included to maintain temperature throughout the journey.

Feeding Guide

  • Thaw thoroughly at room temperature before offering to your animal
  • Never use a microwave or hot water to defrost
  • Remove any uneaten food promptly to prevent mould or contamination of the enclosure
  • Do not refreeze once thawed

Storage

Store all packs in the freezer and only defrost what you need for each feeding session. Keep the packaging sealed in the freezer to prevent freezer burn and preserve nutritional quality over time.

Choose the pack size that suits your setup — smaller packs work well for keepers feeding one or two animals, while larger packs offer greater convenience for breeders or those running multiple enclosures. Whichever size you select, you're getting the same ethically produced, consistently sized feeders throughout.
