MistKing Zip Drip Valve MK-ZDVal | Misting System Anti-Drip Upgrade

The MK Zip Drip Valve (MK-ZDVal) eliminates post-cycle dripping from your misting system by fitting inline between the reservoir and the pump. If your vivarium or terrarium is getting residual drips after each misting cycle ends, this is the component that stops it. It connects directly to your pump's AC/DC adapter and converts your existing setup into a drip-free system without replacing any core equipment.

How It Works

The MK-ZDVal installs between the reservoir and the pump, cutting off residual water flow once the pump stops running. Rather than replacing your entire misting system, this single inline valve retrofits into the feed line to prevent unwanted moisture from reaching your nozzles after the cycle ends — keeping substrate, hides, and temperature gradients where you set them.

Compatibility & Tubing Size

The valve is compatible with both 1/4" and 3/8" feed line tubing, covering the two standard sizes used across common misting systems. Starter and Ultimate-type systems typically run on 1/4" feed tubing, while Advanced-type systems use a 3/8" feed to the pump — check your existing setup before ordering to ensure you select the correct size.
