The Microclimate EVO Connected 3 is a three-channel, cloud-connected thermostat built for reptile keepers who want precise environmental control at vivarium level and beyond. With Wi-Fi connectivity, a fully redesigned capacitive touch display, and a dedicated mobile app, it brings together scheduling, data logging, and remote management in a single unit.

A New Kind of Display

The EVO Connected 3 features an all-new capacitive touch panel with a smooth, all-glass front and gloss black bezel — fast to respond and clean enough to mount proudly on any setup. A single cable runs between the display and the main control box, keeping wiring tidy and the front panel uncluttered. Mounting solutions are built directly into both the display unit and the control box.

Ramp Times and Timing Modes

Ramp time allows temperature transitions to happen gradually rather than abruptly — particularly useful for the shift between night and day set points, where a slow rise over one or two hours is far more natural for the animal than a sudden spike. Four timing modes give you control from the straightforward to the highly detailed:

• Constant: a single temperature or setting held around the clock
• Day and Night: separate settings for daytime and night-time periods
• Multi: up to 8 different settings across a 24-hour cycle
• Seasons: set different parameters across the year to reflect natural seasonal change

Cloud Connectivity and the EVO Connected App

With the EVO Connected app (available on iOS and Android) and a web dashboard, the EVO Connected 3 can be monitored and adjusted from anywhere with an internet connection. Real-time data shown on the app home screen includes current temperatures, active set points, power output status per channel, and temperature history graphs with up to one year of data stored. Multiple thermostats can be added to a single app, with easy switching between them — and you can mix different EVO Connected models within the same account. Access can be shared with others at varying permission levels, making it practical for collections managed by more than one person.

Familiar Menus, Expanded Capability

The on-screen menu structure will be immediately recognisable to anyone who has used a previous EVO thermostat — the layout has been kept consistent so there is no relearning curve. A temperature history graph remains accessible directly from the touchscreen. The app mirrors this simplicity, with clearly laid out menus that scale from basic day-to-day use through to advanced scheduling and seasonal programming.
