A Display Built for Modern Keeping

The EVO Connected 2 features an all-new capacitive touch display with a smooth, all-glass front and gloss black bezel. Response times are sharp and the interface is clean — it sits neatly on any vivarium or rack without looking out of place. A single cable runs from the main control box to the display unit, keeping your setup tidy and cable management straightforward. Mounting solutions are built directly into both the display unit and the main control box.

Two Channels, Full Gradient Monitoring

Each channel comes with its own IP-rated temperature sensor, so even when a channel is being used to manage lighting rather than heating, it's still logging temperature data. This means you can place one probe at the basking spot and use the second to monitor the cool end, capturing a full picture of the thermal gradient inside the enclosure. That data is stored and accessible, giving you a reliable record of conditions over time.

Control From Anywhere via the EVO Connected App

The EVO Connected app, available on iOS and Android, acts as a central hub for your entire collection. Add multiple thermostats to a single account and switch between them from one home screen — you can even mix different EVO Connected models within the same app. Real-time data is displayed per thermostat, including live channel temperatures, current set points, power output status, and temperature graphs with up to one year of historical data. Access is shareable too, so you can grant friends, family, or colleagues varying levels of control over your collection. A web dashboard is also available for those who prefer managing things from a desktop. A Wi-Fi connection to the thermostat is required for cloud features.

Timing Modes and Ramp Times

The EVO Connected 2 offers four timing modes to suit everything from simple setups to those requiring a full annual cycle. Ramp time is a standout feature — rather than snapping between temperature set points, the thermostat transitions gradually over a period you define, making temperature shifts more naturalistic for the animal. This is particularly useful at dawn and dusk transitions, where a slow rise or fall across an hour or two more closely mirrors what an animal would experience in the wild.

An on-screen temperature history graph is accessible directly from the touchscreen display, alongside the full suite of controls available through the app.
