Store mealworms at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and draughts. Feed them regularly on fresh leafy greens, carrot, squash, or sweet potato — this maintains hydration and boosts their nutritional value before you feed them off. Remove any uneaten food daily to prevent mould and keep conditions clean. Well-fed, active mealworms provide significantly better nutrition for your reptile or amphibian than mealworms that have been left without food.
