Nutritional Value

Packaging and Transit

Each 100ml portion arrives in a sealed plastic bag with sufficient water to keep the Daphnia alive in transit. During warmer months, the outer packaging may include additional ventilation; during colder months, a heat pack may be included to maintain a suitable temperature throughout the journey.

Storage and Feeding

Unopened, Live Daphnia can be stored in the fridge for 5–7 days. Once the bag is opened, feed immediately — do not reseal.

• Use a fine sieve to separate the Daphnia from the transport water before feeding
• Remove any uneaten food from the enclosure or tank daily to prevent decay and maintain water quality
• Store away from direct sunlight and draughts at all times
