Packaging and Transit

Bloodworms arrive sealed in a plastic bag containing 100ml of water to keep them viable during transit. During warmer months, the outer box may be perforated to aid cooling; during colder months, a heat pack may be included to maintain a safe temperature in transit.

Storage and Feeding

Keep the sealed packet refrigerated and use within 5–7 days of receipt. Once opened, use immediately — do not reseal and return to the fridge.

• Use a fine sieve to separate the bloodworms from the water before feeding
• Remove any uneaten food from the enclosure daily to prevent water quality issues and decay
• Store away from direct sunlight and draughts at all times
