During warmer months the outer box may carry additional perforations for cooling; during colder months a heat pack may be included to maintain a suitable temperature on the way to you.

Keeping Them in Good Condition

Store large silent crickets at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and draughts. Continue gut-loading them right up until use — fresh leafy greens, carrot, squash, or sweet potato all work well and help maintain their nutritional value. Remove any uneaten food daily to prevent mould or bacterial build-up. Provide size-appropriate housing with adequate hiding spots to avoid overcrowding.
