Fish Science Weekend Food is a slow-release tablet food designed to keep small and medium tropical fish fed while you are away for weekends or short breaks. Each sachet contains a dissolving wafer that releases nutrition gradually into the aquarium without clouding the water when used as directed. This 12-pack keeps you stocked for multiple trips throughout the year.

How It Works

Drop the wafer into your aquarium just before you leave. It dissolves slowly, releasing food at a rate your fish can consume naturally over the period you are away. Fish can tolerate reduced feeding for short periods, and this format ensures they receive sufficient nutrition without overloading the tank. Remove any uneaten food when you return.

Feeding Guide

Dosage is based on small to medium tropical species such as rosy barbs, swordtails, and guppies. Adjust downward for smaller species.

• 5–25 fish, 2–3 days away: 1 wafer
• 5–25 fish, 4–6 days away: 2 wafers
• 25–40 fish, 2–3 days away: 2 wafers
• 25–40 fish, 4–6 days away: 3 wafers
• 40+ fish, 2–3 days away: 3 wafers
• 40+ fish, 4–6 days away: 4 wafers

Important Notes

• Not suitable for newly established aquaria
• Do not use in tanks under 30 litres
• Aquarium must have a mature, functioning filter before use
• Remove any uneaten wafer material upon returning home
