Product Information

Fish Science Worm Pellets are a worm-based sinking pellet food formulated for mid-water and bottom-feeding fish. Built around a blend of four worm species — bloodworms, earthworms, mealworms, and silkworms — with over 40% worm content, this is a diet that genuinely reflects what these fish eat in the wild. Available in two sizes to suit different tank setups and feeding volumes.

A Diet Grounded in Natural Feeding Behaviour

Many mid-water and bottom-feeding species are natural worm predators, and a diet that reflects this supports better condition, digestion, and feeding response. Fish Science Worm Pellets are readily accepted and easily digested, making them a practical everyday staple for species that thrive on invertebrate-based nutrition.

Pellet Format and Behaviour

The 1mm soft pellets sink slowly, putting food in the water column and on the substrate where mid-water and bottom feeders naturally forage. The soft texture aids digestion and suits species that may struggle with harder pellet formats.

Nutritional Profile

Each batch is formulated to a consistent analytical standard:

  • Protein: 44%
  • Oil: 6.5%
  • Fibre: 2%
  • Moisture: 8%
  • Ash: 10.5%

Ingredients and Additives

Composition includes worm meal, insect meal, herring meal, cereals, fish hydrolysate, yeast, potato, minerals, algae, lecithin, antioxidants, and colourants. Natural ingredients are included to support immune function and enhance colouration. Vitamin additives per kg: Vitamin A 15,500 IU, Vitamin D3 900 IU, Vitamin E 65mg, Vitamin C 260mg.

Feeding Guidance

Feed once or twice daily, offering only as much as fish will consume within one minute. Remove any uneaten food promptly to maintain water quality.

Fish Science Worm Pellets are available in two sizes — choose based on the number of fish you are feeding and how quickly you work through food to keep it fresh and effective.
