Fish Science Corydoras Tablets are a tablet-form sinking food designed specifically for corydoras, loaches, and other bottom-feeding fish. Built around insect meal as the primary protein source, this formulation mirrors the natural, invertebrate-rich diet these fish would encounter in the wild — making it a more biologically appropriate choice than generic bottom feeder foods.

Insect-Led Nutrition

Insect meal makes up 14% of the composition, supported by fish hydrolysate, shrimp meal, spirulina algae, brewers yeast, and a range of plant ingredients including spinach, peas, alfalfa, garlic, cauliflower, and cucumber. This approach reduces reliance on wild-caught fish meal, making it a more sustainable option without compromising on nutritional quality.

How the Tablets Work

The tablets sink directly to the substrate, where bottom-feeders naturally forage. They break down gradually rather than disintegrating immediately, encouraging natural feeding behaviour and reducing the risk of uneaten food fouling the water. The formulation is designed to support easy digestion and minimise waste.

Feeding Guide

Feed once or twice daily, offering as many tablets as your fish will consume within 15 minutes. Remove any uneaten food after that window to keep water quality stable.
