How It Heats

Because it emits no light whatsoever, it can run continuously through day and night cycles without disrupting your reptile's activity patterns.

Designed for Nano and Mini Terrariums

The compact dimensions of this emitter make it well suited to smaller enclosures, including Exo Terra's own NANO and MINI Natural Terrariums. It pairs directly with the Exo Terra Reptile Dome NANO, a fixture specifically designed for use on these smaller setups. The emitter can also be directed at a specific area to establish a localised basking zone and create a temperature gradient across the enclosure.

Thermostat Compatibility

This emitter should always be used with a thermostat. An on/off or pulse proportional thermostat is recommended to maintain accurate temperatures and protect the element's lifespan. Running any ceramic heat emitter uncontrolled is not advised.
