Exo Terra Light Dome Fixture

The Exo Terra Light Dome is a compact, versatile lighting fixture designed to sit directly on the mesh top of an Exo Terra terrarium. Available in two sizes to suit different enclosure scales, it works with a wide range of incandescent and compact fluorescent bulbs — making it a practical centrepiece for any terrarium lighting setup.

Reflector Performance

The highly polished aluminium reflector is the standout feature here. By directing and concentrating light output downward, it can increase the effective light, UVB, and UVA reaching your animals by up to 100% compared to an unshielded bulb — a meaningful difference for reptiles with demanding UV requirements.

Bulb Compatibility

The ceramic socket handles both compact fluorescent and incandescent bulb types, giving keepers flexibility when building or adjusting their lighting system. Note that Solar Glo and Ceramic Heat Emitter bulbs are not compatible with this fixture.
