Product Information

The ET UVB Nano 9w Bulb (PT2366) is a compact UVB lamp designed specifically for nano and mini terrarium setups where full-sized bulbs simply won't fit. At 9 watts, it delivers both UVA and UVB output in a small-footprint form factor, making it a practical UV source for keepers running smaller vivarium builds for reptiles, amphibians, or invertebrates.

UVA & UVB Output

This bulb emits optimal levels of both UVA and UVB radiation. The UVB component drives vitamin D3 synthesis in the animal's skin, which is essential for calcium metabolism — a direct line of defence against metabolic bone disease. UVA output supports general behavioural health and contributes to the animal's overall wellbeing beyond what visible light alone provides.

Designed for Nano Setups

The compact dimensions of the ET UVB Nano 9w Bulb make it well suited for use with nano and mini terrarium fixtures. It is ideal for pairing with a nano-format deep dome lamp holder. Where additional heat is needed, it can be combined with a daylight basking spot nano or daylight LED spot nano bulb depending on the animal's specific requirements, or paired with an infrared basking spot nano to maintain a 24-hour lighting and warmth cycle.

Bulb Replacement Schedule

UV output degrades gradually over time even when a bulb remains visibly functional. To ensure animals consistently receive the correct level of UV radiation, this bulb should be replaced every 12 months regardless of whether it appears to still be working. This is standard practice for any responsible UV lighting regime.

A straightforward, well-specified UV bulb for keepers who need reliable UVB delivery in a compact terrarium — without compromise on the output that smaller animals still depend on.
