The Exo Terra Turtle Haven Terrarium is a purpose-built all-glass aquatic enclosure designed specifically for aquatic turtles and other semi-aquatic species. Construction and Access

All panels are crystal-clear glass, giving an unobstructed view of the full habitat. The open-top design allows straightforward access for feeding, maintenance, and interaction with your animals. A removable glass panel sits above the basking platform and acts as a barrier to prevent escape without compromising ventilation or access.

Basking Platform

A full-width basking platform runs across the rear of the enclosure, sitting directly over the integrated filtration housing. A sloping ramp provides easy exit from the water — important for the long-term health of aquatic turtles that need reliable access to a dry basking area. The platform design also conceals the equipment beneath it, keeping the aesthetic clean.

Integrated Filtration System

The built-in 2-stage filtration system is divided into four chambers: an inlet chamber fitted with a grid and coarse foam sponge, two chambers housing medium foam sponges, and a fourth chamber that houses the filter pump and the included 150W turtle heater. Dual multi-directional outflow nozzles allow you to control water flow direction and increase surface agitation for improved oxygenation throughout the enclosure.

Drainage System

A bottom drain system simplifies water changes significantly. Once the tubing, elbow connector, and tap valve are connected, the base of the terrarium is fully waterproof, and excess water can be removed without disturbing the animals or lifting heavy equipment.
