The PT2464 combines a 600W dimming thermostat and a 100W hygrostat into a single unit, giving reptile keepers precise, independent control over both temperature and humidity in one vivarium setup. Day and Night Control

Temperature and humidity targets can be set independently for daytime and night-time periods. This means you can programme a lower night temperature alongside a higher nocturnal humidity level, closely mirroring the conditions many reptile species experience in the wild. No external timer is required — the day/night cycle is built into the unit.

Dimming Thermostat for Accurate Temperature

Rather than switching heating on and off in cycles, the dimming function modulates power output to maintain temperature at the set point with a high degree of accuracy. This virtually eliminates temperature swings in the terrarium, which is particularly important for sensitive or thermoregulation-dependent species. The thermostat controls heating devices up to 600W and operates across a range of 10°C to 60°C.

Hygrostat Channel

The integrated hygrostat controls humidifying devices up to 100W and maintains humidity up to 99% RH. It operates independently from the thermostat channel, so both heating and humidifying targets are managed simultaneously without compromise. The remote sensor is rated for use in high-moisture environments, making it safe to place inside humid tropical setups.

The PT2464 works with heat mats, heat cables, and ceramic heaters connected to the thermostat output, and foggers or humidifiers connected to the hygrostat output. The unit includes a grounded power cord and receptacle, which adds a layer of electrical safety and allows connection to a power strip if needed. The remote probe handles both temperature and humidity sensing from a single placement point in the terrarium.
