Exo Terra Thermostat 600w & Hygrostat 100w

The Exo Terra PT2464 combines a 600W dimming thermostat and a 100W hydrostat into a single unit, giving reptile keepers precise, simultaneous control over both temperature and humidity. Designed for desert and tropical vivarium setups alike, it replicates the natural variation between day and night conditions — independently adjustable for each cycle.

Day & Night Climate Control

Temperature and humidity settings are configured separately for daytime and night-time periods, allowing you to drop temperatures after dark or raise humidity overnight, just as conditions shift in the wild. This level of cycle-specific control is particularly valuable for species with pronounced diurnal rhythms. The unit actively protects against overheating in summer and undercooling in winter, while maintaining humidity at the set level throughout.

Dimming Thermostat for Accurate Temperature

Rather than switching heating devices on and off, the dimming function modulates power output to hold temperature precisely at the set point. This reduces temperature swings significantly compared to conventional on/off thermostats, making it well suited for heat mats, heat cables, and ceramic heaters. The thermostat handles heating loads up to 600W, covering the majority of vivarium heating setups.

Hydrostat Function

The integrated 100W hydrostat controls foggers or humidifiers independently of the heating circuit. Humidity can be set up to 99% RH, and the blue LED indicator shows when the humidifying device is active — switching off once the target level is reached. The remote sensor is rated for use in high-humidity environments, making it suitable for tropical and rainforest terrariums.
