The ET Thermo-Hygro Combometer PT2470 is a combined digital thermometer and hygrometer designed for reptile and amphibian vivariums. A single 2-in-1 instrument gives you accurate, simultaneous readings of both temperature and humidity — two of the most critical environmental parameters for any exotic species — without cluttering your setup with separate devices.

Remote Sensor for Accurate Readings

The unit comes with a remote combined sensor that measures both temperature and humidity at the point that matters — inside the vivarium, close to the animal. Placing the sensor correctly rather than relying on an ambient room reading gives a far more reliable picture of the actual conditions your reptile is experiencing.

Min/Max Memory

A programmable minimum and maximum memory function records the highest and lowest readings since the last reset. This lets you monitor overnight temperature drops or humidity fluctuations without having to watch the display continuously — useful for tracking whether your setup is holding stable across the full day/night cycle. The entire memory function is controlled via a single button, keeping operation straightforward.

Mounting Options

The PT2470 can be installed in three ways: using the included Velcro for tool-free, repositionable mounting; with a screw for a more permanent fix; or by sliding it directly into position on top of compatible Exo Terra Compact Top units. That flexibility makes it practical across a range of vivarium setups and enclosure types.
