The Exo Terra Pro Terrarium 90x45x30cm is a wide, low-profile glass enclosure built for terrestrial species that need horizontal space rather than height. It suits Goliath Bird Eaters, salamanders, newts, and other ground-dwelling reptiles and amphibians that benefit from a spacious, naturalistic setup. This is an updated version of one of the most established glass terrariums in the hobby, now with improved ventilation, access, and misting system compatibility.

Front Access and Security

The dual front doors open via a spring-loaded push latch, giving smooth one-handed access without disturbing the enclosure. A built-in lock prevents accidental openings, keeping animals contained between sessions. The top is both removable and lockable, giving you two access points depending on the task.

Ventilation and Airflow

The ventilation system is designed to be discreet without compromising function. A three-level adjustable airflow system allows precise control over air exchange, and the patented forced vertical airflow actively works to reduce condensation on the glass. An integrated dirt collector sits within the vent system, trapping sand and dust before they can block airflow and compromise hygiene.

Visibility and Interior Space

A low-front glass panel maximises the viewing area, giving wide, unobstructed sight lines into the enclosure. The raised bottom frame lifts the terrarium sufficiently to allow a heat mat to be installed underneath with ease. The expanded interior supports the creation of varied microhabitats — temperature gradients, humidity zones, and multiple hides can all be incorporated without the layout feeling cramped.

Misting System Ready

Six self-closing inlets are positioned at the rear for routing cables or tubing cleanly into the enclosure. Internal gutters manage tubing runs neatly, and dedicated nozzle attachment points allow an automatic misting system to be fitted directly — compatible with the Exo Terra Monsoon system, sold separately.
