The Exo Terra Pro Terrarium 60x45x60cm is a tall-format glass enclosure built for arboreal and climbing species — gargoyle geckos, crested geckos, and giant moss geckos among them. This is a significant update to one of the most established glass terrarium designs in the hobby, adding genuine functional improvements rather than cosmetic ones.

Secure Front Access

Dual front-opening doors are operated via a spring-loaded push latch for smooth, one-handed access. A built-in lock prevents accidental opening, keeping animals contained between handling sessions. The low-front glass panel maximises the viewing window and gives a wider, cleaner sightline into the enclosure.

Adjustable Ventilation System

Ventilation is managed through a hidden system that maintains the terrarium's clean aesthetic without compromising airflow. A three-level adjustable airflow mechanism gives precise control over the enclosure environment, and the patented forced vertical airflow actively reduces condensation on the glass. An integrated dirt collector sits within the vent system, trapping dust and substrate particles before they can block airflow.

Raised Bottom Frame and Interior Space

The raised bottom frame is designed to accept a heat mat beneath the enclosure without modification, making undertank heating straightforward to set up. The expanded interior volume supports the creation of varied microhabitats — separate temperature zones, differing humidity gradients, and multiple hides can all coexist within the space. This directly supports the behavioural and physiological needs of the animals housed inside.

Misting System Ready

Six self-closing inlets at the rear of the terrarium accept wires or tubing neatly, and internal gutters manage tubing routing within the enclosure. Dedicated nozzle attachment points are built in, making integration with an automatic misting system — such as the Exo Terra Monsoon — straightforward. The misting system itself is sold separately.

Top Access and Screen Quality

The lockable, removable top screen provides a second access point for maintenance, feeding, and equipment installation. The screen itself is constructed from high-quality stainless steel, which supports optimal UVB and infrared penetration from overhead lighting and heating sources. Both top and front access points can be operated independently.
