The Exo Terra Pro Terrarium 60x45x45cm (PT4408) is a redesigned glass enclosure built for reptile and amphibian keepers who want genuine functionality alongside clean aesthetics. Sized at 60x45x45cm, it suits a wide range of species — from spiders, scorpions and invertebrates to most amphibians — and brings meaningful engineering improvements over its predecessor.

Secure Front Access

Dual front-opening doors are fitted with a spring-loaded push latch for smooth, one-handed access. A built-in lock prevents accidental openings, so escape risk is actively managed rather than left to chance.

Adjustable Ventilation System

Ventilation is handled through a hidden three-level adjustable airflow system that keeps the exterior looking clean while delivering precise environmental control. The patented forced vertical airflow actively reduces condensation on the glass, supporting both visibility and respiratory health. An integrated dirt collector sits at the vents to intercept dust and sand before they cause blockages.

Raised Bottom Frame and Expanded Interior

A low-front glass panel maximises the viewing angle into the enclosure, and the expanded interior volume supports the creation of varied microhabitats — different temperature zones, humidity gradients, and dedicated hides can all coexist comfortably. The raised bottom frame is designed to accommodate a heat mat beneath the enclosure without modification.

Misting System Compatible

Six self-closing inlets are built into the rear of the terrarium for wires or tubing. Internal gutters keep tubing routed neatly, and dedicated nozzle attachment points allow a compatible automatic misting system to be installed cleanly. The enclosure is fully ready for use with an Exo Terra Monsoon misting system, sold separately.
