Lighting and UV

The T5 UVB100 tube paired with its dedicated fixture delivers appropriate UV output for a crepuscular desert species. The 100W daylight spot bulb provides the basking gradient leopard geckos need to thermoregulate effectively during their active periods.

Heating and Monitoring

The 300W thermostat keeps the spot bulb running at a consistent, safe temperature — essential for preventing overheating in enclosed vivariums. Two thermometers allow you to monitor both the warm and cool ends of the enclosure independently, giving you an accurate picture of the thermal gradient at all times. A heat guard is also included for safe bulb installation.

Substrate and Furnishings

The Stone Desert substrate in Sonoran Ocher replicates the arid, sandy terrain leopard geckos come from, and is safe for use with this species when applied correctly. The two included reptile caves give your gecko both a warm-side and cool-side hide — a non-negotiable element of a stress-free setup — while the water dish completes the basic furniture.

Vivarium Compatibility

This kit is designed for vivariums between 87cm and 120cm in length. The vivarium itself is not included. If you require a supplementary heat source for night-time temperature maintenance, a heat mat or deep heat projector on a separate thermostat is recommended alongside this kit.
