Its broad, arrow-shaped leaves create a dense, layered canopy that adds both structure and naturalism to any planted enclosure.

Why Use It in a Vivarium

This species climbs readily and establishes quickly, making it useful for filling vertical space in taller enclosures. The large leaf surfaces collect water droplets — giving arboreal species a reliable drinking surface — while the foliage itself provides resting spots, cover, and in the case of tree frogs, potential nesting sites.

Care Requirements
